Where to begin? we were welcomed right after we got our luggage at the airport, and the Baros staff never lost sight of us until we checked our bags back at at the airport five days later. Service was beyond our expectations, and we were pleasantly surprised multiple times by their attention to detail, their genuine care and their desire to make our stay as memorable as possible. But service wasn’t the only thing, the quality of food was stellar – and this coming from someone used to Michelin-rated establishments. All that you expects from such caliber establishments you will find here. One thing we truly enjoyed were the dinners by the beach, the first time, literally a few steps from the water, the second was our dinner at the Lighthouse – their french restaurante, where we watched the rise of the full moon and we were seated on the platform/balcony above the water seeing small fish and a couple of small sharks underneath us. We are very thankful to have found Baros, it was our first time there for our 25th anniversary. The rooms we superb, comfortable, cozy and with great views and access to the turquoise water. We could have spent our whole stay in our room, but we had to enjoy the beach, snorkeling and drinks at the bar. Overall, a memorable stay that we will cherish for our lifetimes. Thank you!

As we stepped off the boat the tiredness we had felt just a half hour ago almost completely disappeared. We had arrived, Paradise. Friendly faces greated us and a nice cool drink placed into our hands. Check in fast and efficient but of course it was the sign of things to come as it was our beautiful Host and Butler for the next 10 days, Shinta. Always available but never in your face Shinta is every bit the professional and an asset to Baros. Our first 5 days were in a beach villa, very comfortable bed, beautiful outside bathroom and 2 steps down to the white sandy beach. Second 5 days in the Water Bungalow, Amazing decor, Amazing views and 3 steps down into the Azure blue waters of the Indian Ocean.

We ate in the Lime restaurant for breakfast and dinner and the food was fantastic, great choices to suit everyone. A special mention for two of the many people who work there Keeth and Seline were exceptionally friendly and we enjoyed talking with them.

Sails bar was a great place for lunch during the day and having a few drinks in the evening. As two couples that have travelled a lot in the last 25 years, we have all said that it was possibly the best holiday we have had and we are already thinking about our return trip.
