A warm welcome and smile awaits you at the pier after a 30min. boat ride to the island. The first impression is the most important one. A tour of the resort from my lovely “personal Butler”, before being shown to your room. To move around the resort in bare feet, it’s just tremendous from the very beginning. I had a lovely and huge water bungalow, the interieur looked brand new, was modern and the room was spotless clean. A very spacious bathroom with a range of luxurious amenities and I liked the heated toilet seat. The breakfast had a wide range of warm dishes, fruits, juices, sparkling wine, and sweets, in all an exceptional selection with seawiew outside seating. Snorkelling along the house reef is amazing and there are a lot of ocean tours to book. I also like to mention the Spa which is a wonderful place to relax. From the reception to the Managing lady, they all make you feel welcome. Thanks for the professional massage service from Inwar. The resort felt like a family to me. You feel the spirit and the wonderful team work, all the staff were so friendly. Thanks to everybody who made my stay in paradise memorable and thanks to the General Manager Mr. Cameron who takes good care of every single guest too.

We took ages pouring over where to stay for our honeymoon. So grateful we decided on Huvafen Fushi! We are fortunate to travel to some nice places but HF was another level. From the minute you land until the minute you leave the airport the HF team make you feel special. We have never experienced anything like it! Cannot recommend this beautiful little island enough. Clearly a very happy team, well looked after which ripples through to the most incredible hospitality and service. Just stunning. Cannot wait to go back!

If I could give this hotel 6* I would.
I have just read several reviews and find the comments surprising. We stayed on the island for 2 weeks, and at no point during our stay did we get a ‘no’ we only got a yes.
I guess unlike a lot of people that stay here, who expect to be treated like royalty, and have ever request pandered to, with no understand of the island or its limitations, we found by being friendly with everyone, making time to enquire about their day, getting to know them, we received a 6* service. As a result, our two weeks were total bliss.
