If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxed small Maldivian island, then do consider Kandolhu, it was superb in every way and a real tonic! The views, sunsets and nature were amazing!! A huge thank you to the island hospitality, service and garden-teams who made every day perfect! We had 9 nights in a duplex pool villa which was very well equipped and comfortable. The food and drinks in the main restaurants were superb! We snorkeled every day and even one evening which was an experience to see the reef come to life at night – Kandolhu does have a wonderful house reef, an underwater garden of Eden! We would love to come back and stay next year as we weren’t ready to go home on our departure date!

It was the tenth time in Maldives for us and the fist in Kandolhu, we chose it especially for the reef and because it is small with few accommodations. Our experience went beyond expectations, the reef is wonderful, one of the most beautiful ever seen, the welcome is spectacular. Despite being of high level it is informal, great sense of freedom and guaranteed privacy. The accommodation is well equipped with every comfort. But what makes the holiday special is the kindness of all the staff who work in this lodge. A heartfelt thank you to the guys who take care of our villa, attentive to every need, to all the waiters and bartenders always available to fulfill our requests and advise us, a beautiful spa with competent operators. The food is fantastic with a variety of incredible proposals. An unforgettable holiday and we hope to come back.

We have just returned from this beautiful paradise island and cannot wait to book our return trip! The whole team are so friendly and welcoming and we felt they were more like family by the end of our 9 wonderful days here. We stayed a couple of nights in a superb duplex pool villa which led straight onto the beach and then had 7 nights in an ocean pool villa looking out over the reef – both were amazing. The island is small – with only 30 villas – and it took just a gentle stroll of 10 minutes to walk around – without seeing more than a couple of people at most! We chose the all inclusive package and the meals were all a la carte and to an exceptional standard – with 5 restaurants to choose from – and we enjoyed a couple of wonderful tasting menus as well as the Banzai Japenese grill. The mini bar in the villa was the most well stocked we have ever had – with a choice of 30 quality wines plus soft drinks and spirits! We chose Kandolhu because the island is small and the house reef provides superb snorkelling (snorkels, masks, fins and a Go-Pro camera can all be borrowed from the dive shop).
