This was my second visit to Huvafen Fushi and it was just as great as I remember. I booked a Lagoon Bungalow with Pool that was modern and very large. What I loved most about my room, was that the sharks came to me, I never had to swim to them. It was heaven sitting on my deck with a beer watching all the sharks and rays pass by.

Ba’theli by the Reef

A culinary journey through the Indian Ocean, at one of the most iconic restaurants in the Maldives. This voyage of flavour spans the ancient spice route, and is best enjoyed from a Ba’theli ancient sailing vessel in the centre of Milaidhoo’s central ocean lagoon.

HANIFARU BAY & UNESCO

Swim amidst passing whale sharks, nursery schools of grey sharks and hundreds of rays. Hanifaru Bay is a world-renowned dive spot located in Baa Atoll.

It is simply spectacular, and one of the top dive spots in Asia. It became a Marine Protected Area in 2009, and was added to a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve in 2011.

Milaidhoo also offers a Be a Marine Biologist programme, where you can learn about this incomparable place and its incredible local wildlife.
